You can register to vote online at https://registertovote.ca.gov. The last day to register to vote in the 2024 election is October 21, 2024.

When does voting begin?

Ballot drop-off locations open on October 8, 2024. Vote centers open for early in-person voting in all Voter’s Choice Act counties beginning on October 26, 2024.

How do I get my ballot?

All California active registered voters will receive a vote-by-mail ballot for the November 5, 2024, General Election. Your county elections office will begin mailing ballots by October 7, 2024.

When do I have to have my vote-by-mail ballot in by?

Vote-by-mail ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by November 12, 2024.
